MARIA O DEA MADRE? – MARY OR MOTHER GODDESS?

Oggi la chiesa cattolica rimane fortemente gerarchica e androcratica. Dio è maschio e le donne non possono accedere a nessun gradino del ministero. L’archetipo della Dea Madre viene proiettato in Maria, idealizzata a figura sottomessa al volere di Dio (e dell’uomo). E’ necessario demolire tale figura affinché Dio possa tornare una Madre onnipresente ma impotente. Che differenza c’è fra un sistema di valori radicale-integrale e uno rigido-integralista? O fra lettura integrale ed integralista di uno stesso sistema di valori? La differenza è simile a quella fra ideale e ideologia e consiste nel rovesciamento dei ruoli di ‘Fine’ e ‘Mezzo’. Il Vangelo non è un’ideologia che giustifica le ambizioni e le aspettative di potere di alcuni gruppi esclusivi.
